This cat will never cease to amaze me. Before being rescued by @inti_wara_yassi he was a pet in someone’s home. Obviously being a puma he jumped, which is not a desirable trait for a pet with claws that don’t retract… Clearly not content with just removing Leo from the wild they decided to do the unthinkable. They broke both his back legs to stop the jumping.
Luckily for him, he was saved from his monstrous captors and brought to his very own piece of jungle, where he is able to explore and act as close to naturally as possible. We take him out for walks go see the changing environment and this cat which once was tormented by owners now trusts in friends, letting us guide him through the forests and swamps and occasionally coming to relax with us. He decides if he wants company and everything is always on his terms, which makes our bond so much more beautiful.
I think we can all learn a lot from Leo.
